Here's what's new in uman: contacts you can add and own, smarter suggestions, faster bulk actions, a redesigned mobile app and two new languages.
🤝 Contacts
Contacts now work just like your accounts and leads.
Add contacts by hand: from the Contacts page or an account, find someone in your workspace or on LinkedIn (or add them by job title), pick their account, and optionally link your CRM, add a note or start a campaign right away.
Contacts have owners: add yourself, assign colleagues one by one or in bulk, and filter the Contacts list by owner. You're added automatically when you start an outreach or meet someone.
Tidy your list: remove contacts you no longer work with. They won't be added back automatically.
Consistent everywhere: contact rows look and work the same on accounts, leads, deals and meetings, with "add to my contacts" wherever a person appears.
🔍 Suggested contacts
Active / Suggested filter: the Contacts page shows who you already work with and who uman suggests, with counts.
New filters: narrow by department, seniority, location and language.
Better-matched suggestions: uman now suggests only people who match your buyer personas, so the list is shorter and more relevant. The same suggestions appear on accounts, leads and when adding meeting participants.
Claim in one click: open a suggestion and add it to your contacts.
💡 Suggestions are based on the buyer personas in your published offerings. Make sure yours are filled in.
⚡ Faster bulk actions
Start outreaches for several contacts at once: select contacts, pick a campaign and a start date. Anyone already in one of your active campaigns is skipped (you can override this).
Assign an owner in bulk: now on the Accounts and Leads lists too, just like on Contacts.
Select a whole page on Accounts and Leads.
A cleaner selection bar: your actions now sit directly in the bar on Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Tasks, with a quick close button to clear the selection.
🏢 Accounts & leads
Remove any account owner: including yourself or the last remaining owner. The account and all its history are kept.
Team portfolio choices go all the way down: a team's Focus or Excluded choice now applies to every level of sub-offerings, not just the first.
ℹ️ Team Focus/Excluded settings are managed by workspace admins. Existing setups update the next time the setting is saved.
🎙️ Meetings
Choose how the meeting assistant joins: a new Meeting assistant page in your personal settings lets you decide whether it joins your meetings automatically or only when you ask. Sales admins can still set this for the whole workspace.
More reliable transcripts: near-silent recordings no longer produce text for a conversation that never happened.
Private appointments stay private: calendar events whose only outside guests use personal email addresses (like Gmail) no longer turn into meetings.
Refused consent is respected: if recording consent was refused for a meeting, its transcript is no longer shown.
Prep and follow-up emails: these now go to users whose calendar is connected and syncing.
📱 A redesigned mobile app
The uman mobile app has a fresh new look that matches the web app, and is built around captures.
Capture anything, anywhere: record a meeting, import an audio file, or type or dictate a note. Captures are kept on your phone and work even when you're offline.
Save it where it belongs: add a capture later to a sales meeting, deal, account or contact. A recording saved to a sales meeting drafts its follow-up; notes land in the meeting's preparation or follow-up, or on the deal, account or contact.
Sends by itself: captures waiting to be saved go up automatically once you're back online.
Easier navigation: a new bottom bar with Home, Meetings and Captures, and a meetings list split into upcoming and past, with search and status filters.
Now in Spanish: the mobile app is available in Spanish too.
💡 Update the uman app from the App Store or Google Play to get the new version.
🌍 German and Spanish
uman is now fully available in German and Spanish. If you've chosen one of these languages, the whole web app now appears in it.
🔗 SAP Sales Cloud
SAP Sales Cloud is now available as a CRM connection, on request. Contact support to set it up for your workspace.
🔧 Fixes
Fixed an issue where a contact's name could disappear after starting an outreach.
Organisation insights now open much faster when your workspace uses a different language.
The meetings export now includes summaries that were previously missing.
HubSpot deals in stages set to 0% or 100% probability are now correctly shown as open.
A failed Google Drive or OneDrive export is now clearly marked as failed, instead of looking successful.
The Account tab of an outreach shows the account's people again.
Paging through the bulk-add company search no longer breaks the filters.
Long account names no longer stretch the accounts table.
