Start searching with Uman

Searching with Uman makes it easy for everyone to find what they need, without wasting any time. See how simple it is ⬇️.

To search in your company knowledge, click in the search bar at the top.

Then, start by jotting down one or many keywords in the search bar and hit enter to search.

After you have hit enter, search results will appear in order of most relevant.

You have the option to Navigate between search results (1), filter them down (2) or preview the details of a single search result (3)

Search Capabilities

Autocomplete

Autocomplete makes it faster to complete searches you are starting to type. It will display keyword suggestions in the search box based on what is stored in the Uman self-learning search index.

Search history

You can see and remove your search history in the search bar; This helps you rediscover the things you have searched for in the past.

Quotation marks

While searching you can also use quotation marks to search for more than one word.

For example:

  • If you search for "Proposal social media" you'll find results containing that exact phrase.

  • If you search for Proposal social media you'll find result that contain the words "Proposal" and "social media" both together and separately.

Case sensitivity

Searches is not case sensitive so searching for "seo" or "SEO" makes no difference and returns the same results

Sorting

By default the search results appear in the order of most relevant. To change the order click on the dropdown on the right.

Language

At this moment our search is only optimized for English. If you like to see search optimized for other languages, let us know in the messenger. ➘
