Configure outreach messages and sequences

This article describes the practical steps for creating outreach assets and sequences

Managing outreach effectively requires the right balance of structure, flexibility, and control. This is where sequences and outreach assets come into play. Below, we’ll explain what these concepts mean and how you can use the advanced sequence management features to build stronger outreach flows.

🌟 What are outreach assets and sequences?

Outreach assets 🧩 are the building blocks of your communication strategy. They include elements such as LinkedIn messages, email scripts, call scripts and reusable content that help you maintain consistency across all your interactions.

A sequence 🔄 is a structured flow of steps designed to guide engagement with a prospect or customer over time. A sequence can include emails, calls, reminders or other tasks that together create a clear outreach journey. Sequences ensure your communication is not only timely but also methodical and repeatable.


🚀 Key features of advanced sequence management

You can create outreach assets and sequences by navigating to: SettingsBusiness DevelopmentOutreach.

🧩 Collections:

The Collections section gives you access to categorized assets, ready to pick and use from our library. You’ll have a default collection ready for you, including 3 common outreach asset types:

  • LinkedIn Message

  • Outbound Email

  • Call script

When you use this collection in our Business Development Module to contact a stakeholder, we’ll automatically provide three outreach assets tailored to the account, the stakeholder, and the related opportunities. These outreach assets can be used for one-off messages and ad-hoc outreach.

If you would like to create your own collection, you have 2 options:

  • You can duplicate the default (or an existing) collection by clicking on the three dots and adapt it to your needs.


  • You can also create your own collection by clicking on 'add outreach'

🔄 Sequences:

Sequences help business development teams manage outreach in a systematic, reliable, and scalable way, turning good intentions into measurable, repeatable results.

🎯 Key elements of a sequence

  • Multiple steps: A sequence is made up of steps such as LinkedIn messages, emails, calls, reminders.

  • Timing & Order: Each step is carefully scheduled to ensure consistent follow-up without overwhelming the prospect.

  • Personalization: Steps can be adapted to the specific account, stakeholder, or opportunity, making your outreach more relevant.

You’ll have a default sequence ready for you, including the 3 common outreach asset types. If you would like to use this sequence, it's important to activate this Sequence:

If you would like to create your own sequence, you have 2 options:

  • You can start from scratch by clicking on 'add outreach'


💡 Good to know: once you’ve created an asset (or selected one from the collection library), you can immediately test it with one of your stakeholders. This way, you’ll get direct feedback on its usefulness and impact. It not only helps you refine the content further but also ensures it matches the expectations and needs of your audience.
