Setup Instructions

Step 1: Share your Dynamics URL with uman

Provide your Dynamics environment URL to your uman account manager. Copy it directly from your browser when logged in to Dynamics. Example: https://orgb62a2b65.crm4.dynamics.com

Step 2: Connect your Microsoft account

Once configured, each team member connects their own Microsoft account from within uman via Microsoft Entra ID (OAuth). Records created or updated are attributed to the individual user.

Used OAuth scopes

  • admin.services.crm.dynamics.com/user_impersonation

Admin approve consent

Users may encounter a "Need admin approval" prompt when first connecting. Admins can grant consent organization-wide:

  1. Open Azure Portal: Navigate to the Microsoft Entra ID (Enterprise Applications) page.

  2. Admin Consent Requests: In the left-hand menu, click Admin consent requests.

  3. Approve uman: Locate the request for uman and click Approve to grant the required permissions.
If nothing shows up under 'My Pending,' make sure to check the 'All' reviews section as well.

If users still face issues after approval, ensure they (or a group they belong to) are added under Users and groups within the uman Enterprise Application in Entra ID.
