How to add new offering categories and offerings

Updated over a week ago

In the Portfolio Management module, you can organize your workspace by adding offering categories. Within each category, you can then add individual offerings.

First of all, navigate to the Portfolio module by clicking on the portfolio icon:

2 different views

1️⃣ Grid overview
You can select this view by clicking on the grid icon, in your top right corner. This overview gives you a structured view on the different (categories of) offerings you're selling.

2️⃣ List view
This view is giving you a more in-depth overview of the offerings, their category, the owner, the key content, cases and inspiration sets linked to that.

You can also see the Quality score.
This score measures how well the information describing that service is written, structured, and kept up to date — with the goal of helping your company attract and convert prospects effectively.

This score reflects how complete, relevant, and compelling the linked data is — including the offering description, the clearly defined client challenges, and the proposed solution. The better this story is told, the more your offerings resonate with potential customers, the better uman can help you.

Adding offering categories:

In this view, you have the possibility to add an offering category by clicking on 'Add offering category'.

Enter the category name and the category description. After completing, click on 'Save category'.

🔹 Tip: We recommend making this as complete and clear as possible to ensure the system has accurate, high-quality information to work with.

Adding offerings:

Underneath the option to add an offering category, you have the possibility to add an offering in that specific category.

If you click on the button 'Add offering', the following screen will open:

1️⃣ Enter the offering name and, if needed, a custom offering ID.

2️⃣ Select the offering owner. Assign owners who can manage content, review templates and maintain accuracy.

3️⃣ Add the URLs related to your offering (can be your website if you're services are well enough explained and the challenges/solutions are defined).

Files: drag and drop your files.

4️⃣ Related cases: link references related to your offering.

5️⃣ Related inspiration: link inspirations related to your offering.

Click the ‘Save & Finish’ button. If you haven’t added all the required information yet, you’ll still have the option to complete your offering later.

🏷️ Adding labels to your portfolio

In the overview screen, you will find the 'manage labels' option where you can create label types.

Labels are simple, descriptive tags you can attach to pieces of content in your portfolio. They help you organize, filter and find content quickly, making your portfolio easier to manage and use.

A label is often used to segment your portfolio:

  • Industries/sectors (e.g., HR, IT Services, Finance, Retail, Telecom)

  • Regions (e.g., Europe, Asia, America)

  • Type (e.g., product, service)

  • Priority (e.g., high, medium, low)

What should be in an offering?

Each offering should contain structured information that helps sales teams position it effectively. Key elements include:

Value Proposition – What problem does it solve?

USPs – Unique selling points that differentiate it.

Methodology – How is it delivered?

Differentiation – Why choose this over competitors?

Services Delivered – What’s included in the offering?

More… – Any information that strengthens relevance for customers.

🔹 Tip: The more specific and tailored the input, the more impactful and relevant the output will be! 🚀
