Explanation of outreach statuses

Learn how you can manage the status of contacts and accounts to manage your outreach workflow

This article will give you an overview of the different outreach statuses in leads and contacts in our business development module.

Target accounts

Target accounts are interesting companies that fits your target audience.

Here you find an overview of all the statuses a target account can have to help you track your progress.

Status

Action

Researching

When you select a new lead, uman automatically starts researching the account and extracting opportunities.

Ready to contact

Your account is ready to engage with. You can see the overview of the account with the potential opportunities that have been found.

Contacting

You start to get in contact with your stakeholder. This status will change when you clicked on 'reach out'.

Meeting booked

You can manually select this status to indicate that a first meeting was booked with this target account

Disqualified

You can manually select this status to indicate that this account is not qualified to do business with based on your research or interactions

Contacts

Contacts are people/stakeholders of the target accounts. There are multiple statuses that a contact can have throughout the outreach phase.

Here you can see the outreach status in the "my contacts" tab of the business development module.

In the contact detail view where you can work on your outreach activities, you can mark a contact as disqualified, or snooze the contact under the "Archive" button. You can also confirm a booked meeting which will set the contact status to "Meeting booked"

Preparing

Once you hit ‘Reach out’, uman automatically begins gathering stakeholder insights and generates outreach assets.

Contacting

Your stakeholders insights are ready. You can see the overview of the stakeholder.

Meeting booked

You can set this status to track with which contacts you have booked a meeting

Disqualified

You can set this status under the archive button in the contact detail view to indicate that this contact is not qualified to do business with based on your research or the interactions you've had.

Snoozed

You can set this status under the archive button in the contact detail view to pauze the outreach on this contact without disqualifying the contact altogether.
