Managing your prospects

Updated over a week ago

Prospects are companies you’d like to win as new customers. Add them to uman to keep your pipeline organised, see what’s happening across accounts, and know what to do next.

Add prospects

Add target accounts you'd like to pursue by clicking 'Add prospects'. You can add prospects in 3 ways:

1️⃣ Add your own prospects :

To add your own prospects, simply use the search field to locate specific companies. This utilizes the LinkedIn search interface to help you identify and select your prospects.

2️⃣ Pick from company database:

To pick them from the company database, search and filter by industry, location, and company size or find companies similar to ones you already work with. As you select companies, the button shows how many you’ve selected.

3️⃣ Import a CSV: Upload a spreadsheet to add prospects in bulk by providing all LinkedIn urls.

After you import, uman automatically starts researching the company.

Manage the prospect lifecycle

Use the three dots on the right side of the prospect to use lifecycle actions to keep your pipeline clean and up to date:

  • Convert to customer: Move the prospect into your customer pipeline when they become a client.

  • Disqualify: Mark the prospect as not relevant.

  • Pause: Pause outreach until a chosen date.

  • Reactivate: Bring a paused or disqualified prospect back into active work.

  • Remove: Remove the prospect from your list.
