1. Did you save the recording?
After stopping a recording, you must tap Save to upload it. If you closed the app or navigated away before saving, the recording may not have been submitted.
If the app crashed or was force-closed during a recording, don't worry β the app automatically saves partial recordings. The next time you open uman, it will detect the incomplete recording and offer to recover it.
2. Check for offline recordings
Sometimes a recording is saved locally on your device but hasn't uploaded yet β for example, if your internet connection was unstable at the time. To find and upload these recordings:
Open the meeting in the uman app.
Tap Start recording.
Select Select offline recordings.
Your pending recording should appear. Tap it to start the upload.
Once the upload begins, you'll see a progress bar showing the upload percentage. After the upload completes, the app will start generating your follow-up. This may take a few minutes for longer recordings.
If the upload fails due to a network issue, you can retry it at any time from the same screen. Uploads also resume automatically when your connection is restored.
3. The recording is stuck on "processing"
Longer recordings (30+ minutes) can take several minutes to process. If your recording has been processing for more than 15 minutes, please contact our support team with the meeting name and date so we can investigate.
4. The recording doesn't appear at all
If you've checked for offline recordings and nothing shows up, the recording may not have been saved successfully. Please reach out to our support team β in some cases we can recover recordings from the server.
