Here's a peek at what's coming to uman, and a heads-up on what's changing. We're putting the finishing touches on it, so details may still evolve before launch.
đ¤ Meetings with every company at the table
Sales meetings rarely involve just one company: a partner, a reseller or several entities of the same group often join the call. Soon a meeting will no longer have to be either a "customer meeting" or a "deal meeting".
Several accounts per meeting: link every company that takes part. The meeting header shows them all, with the actual customer first.
An overview per account in your preparation: key insights, health, installed offerings and quick links to the account and your CRM, for each company.
A clearer meeting history: a short meeting brief and a list of your previous sales meetings replace today's deal history and recap.
Skip per account: when you skip a meeting, choose for each company whether to skip future meetings with them.
đ Your deals, straight from your CRM
Deals in uman will come from one place: your CRM. That means the name, stage, status and close date you see in uman always match what's in your CRM.
Running deals in your preparation: see the deals in play for the companies you're meeting, with their CRM stage, and add the ones you'll discuss.
Push your meeting note to the right records: choose which deals and accounts receive the note after the meeting.
Update deals from your follow-up: change a deal's stage and fields right after the meeting and send them to your CRM.
Notes that know where they belong: when you add a note, pick the deals and accounts it relates to.
To push notes and update deals, connect your own CRM account in uman; you'll be prompted if you haven't yet.
đ What's changing
Deals are managed in your CRM: creating, renaming, closing as won or lost, reopening and deleting deals moves out of uman. You do this in your CRM, and uman follows.
Deals that only exist in uman will be removed: deals that were never linked to your CRM, and the chats about them, will go away. Notes on those deals are kept on their account.
The Deals page needs a CRM: it will only be available in workspaces with a connected CRM. The "Status" column becomes "Stage", taken from your CRM, and saved column choices are reset.
No more customer vs. deal meeting switch: the meeting type tag, the switch and the meeting type filter go away, since a meeting can now cover several accounts and deals.
Archived meetings become read-only: unarchive a meeting to make changes again.
The Presentations page is retired: in workspaces that used it, the Presentations page and the option to collect slides into a deck will be removed. Saved slide collections will no longer be available.
⨠Smaller improvements
Calmer task list: when you complete or skip an overdue task, it stays under Overdue until it leaves the list, instead of jumping around. Bulk actions behave the same way.
The right times on mobile: answers in the mobile app use your phone's timezone, so meeting times match your clock.
