Managing your customers

Keep all your customer info and activity in one place.

Updated over a week ago

Customers are the companies you work with day to day. In uman, you can keep everything about each customer in one place—who you know, what’s happening, and how healthy the relationship is—so it’s easy to stay on top of your accounts.

Add a customer

To add a new customer:

  1. Click Add customer.

  2. Choose the account you want to add.

  3. Click Save.

Once you add a customer, uman automatically enriches the profile with an AI-generated summary, key relationship insights, a relationship history overview, and an initial health assessment—so you can get value right away with minimal manual work.

Customer page

Every customer has a dedicated page, with sections that help you find what you need fast:

  • Contacts — Everyone connected to that customer

  • Deals — Active and closed deals

  • Meetings — Your full meeting history

  • Offerings — Products or services you’ve installed or discussed

  • Opportunities — AI-detected signals for expansion or engagement

  • Timeline — A chronological feed of activity and interactions

  • Activity Summary — A quick overview with notes and key context

Managing Customer Lifecycle

Remove Customer — This removes a customer and all its data permanently.

Churn Customer — Mark a customer as churned when they've left. This updates their status while preserving historical data for analysis and future re-engagement.

CRM Integration

CRM-related actions (push to CRM, link accounts) only appear when you have a CRM connected to uman.
